The Living, Learning, Innovatively Adept Organization

As with any life-force, organizations are at their best when their systems are operating in harmony and health. Organizations have an underlying ecosystem which we focus on to improve our clients’ capacity for growth, innovation and evolution:

Ecosystem of the Living, Learning Organization

A. Heart/Purpose:
The heart of the company is its reason for being. Purpose is the commitment to the founder’s vision. It governs strategy and provides the basis for its mission and values.

B. Mind/Strategy:
The mind of the company is its strategy. Driven by purpose, strategy seeks to engage customer by bringing value to the relationship. This relationship defines the nature of the work the company performs.

C. Body/Workflow:
The collection of people and their work comprise the body of the company. The value they create is articulated in the strategy. The energy they put forth creates the culture.

D. Spirit/Culture:
The spirit, or corporate culture, is an energetic field that emanates from the company as a result of the way in which individuals work together. This energy expresses itself in the behaviors and interactions between the company and its customers.

E. Customer/Universe:
The customer universe, or target market, is the segment of individuals or organizations with needs, wants, problems and characteristics in common that the company has committed to serving.
